Your record is filed by your employer and is often wrong. Your scheme's statement is the figure, so we check it against your payslips and other papers, flag what does not add up, and chase the corrections with your scheme or employer on your behalf. For the NHS scheme in England and Wales we can also rebuild the figure from your pay.
