If you were in public service by March 2012, and still building your police pension after April 2015, the McCloud remedy may affect you.
Police officers choose 1987 or 2006 scheme benefits, or the 2015 scheme. If you're moved back to the 1987 scheme, you'll owe contributions; to the 2006 scheme, you'll be due a refund.
